Reorganization

I've recently gotten back into beagling and rabbit hunting in the early winter of 2004.  Growing up all we did was raise beagles, train, and hunt with them!  It was my passion.  When I entered middle school we drifted out of rabbit or deer hunting with dogs to still hunting for mostly deer.  About 5 years ago I had really lost my passion for the outdoors and hunting.  I would sit in the deer stand thinking about what else I could be doing and by mid season I'd pretty much stop hunting.  I was sitting in a deer stand one day thinking about what changed and why hunting wasn't fun anymore.  I heard something coming up behind me.  I got really still and could hear it walking under my stand.  I looked down directly under to see a big ole swamp rabbit coming to the green field.  It hit me.  I'd lost what hunting was to me.  I remembered the days as a child rabbit hunting with our dogs.  I remembered as a kid I'd shoot my limit of rabbits hunting with my father by lunch and going deer hunting that evening.  I'd lost the fraternity of beagling and the fellowships it had created.  At that point I told myself I had to get back into beagles and rabbit hunting.  I didn't have to just get back into rabbit hunting but hunting period!  Now I'm like a kid again.  Rabbits, squirrels, ducks, geese, doves, deer, and other game just like I use to do as a kid!  I've stopped thinking I needed to be doing something else while hunting and started enjoying it all over again!  I can honestly say beagling saved my hunting life!  I found a few pictures from back in the day!  Y'all enjoy.
